Is a vow renewal legally binding?
No — you’re already married, so a vow renewal has no legal requirements at all. That’s what makes it so freeing: any venue, any time, any words.
Which anniversary should we renew our vows on?
Whichever feels right. Milestones like 10, 25 and 40 years are popular, but plenty of couples renew their vows on a random Saturday because they simply want to celebrate.
Can our children be involved?
Yes, and they often steal the show. Children can give readings, hand over rings, help with a ritual or even walk you down the aisle.
